This is an exercise made in the Digital Project (gehry technologies) workshop dictated by arturo Lyon. The exercise was about modelling a parametric component for it´s replication into a surface by scripted powercopies (vba).
The parameters of the component were associated to an excel file, that controlled the apertures and the depth of the cell.
The possibilities derived from the parametric model, linked to an excel file, are unlimited. This allow the designer to integrate data from external analisis (for example ecotect) for the generation of diferent homeomorphic configurations. Really powerfull software!.

Muy interesante este post!! ¿Conoces algún tutorial en internet para seguir los pasos que describes? He visto algunos tutoriales recientemente en designreform.net acerca del powercopy y realmente me intriga saber si arturo seguía un método tan manual o bien os enseñó a aplicar estrategias para agilizar el proceso.
